In Search of Yeti is an adventurous Nepali movie produced by Visual Production Center Pvt. Ltd., Dillibazar, Kathmandu, Nepal and directed by Santosh Dhakal.

The movie's theme deals with ancient ethnic and indigenous groups in the Himalayas of Nepal, natural disasters in the region and finally the movie depicts the thrilling struggle with y eti.

The movie reveals the wicked ambitions of mankind to gain victory over nature.

The movie is fully adventurous fiction, studded with Nepali culture and thrilling action stunts.

In Search of Yeti has been shot in the area of Langtang (perhaps Yeti existed here), rural areas around it; Lete, Ghasa and Tukuche of Mustang; Tiplyang of Myagdi, Siddha Cave of Bandipur in Tanahu; Dhampus, Sikles, Annapurna Range and Pokhara; Kathmandu and Dhulikhel of Kavre.

For the first time in Nepal, Ahyut Gajurel has animated the character of Yeti -- never before done by camera.

Action Director Roshan Shrestha has directed the exhilarating stunts and fights at 4300 meters of Langtang, the first time such a film as been filmed at this altitude.

The main actors of this movie are Laxman Basnet (Chairman of Taekwondo ITF Nepal & 4th Degree Black Belt of ITF), Dibyaswar Gautam, Pamela Alisa (American Citizen), Sunita Gandharba, Swami Krishna, Pema Sherpa, Rajan Khatri, L.B Thapa, Uttam Newa(Sanda), Lal K. Shrestha,  Akur Khadka, Hari Acharya etc. Child artists Samriti Thapa and Samresh Thapa are also in the movie.

Story by Swami Krishna;  Songs by BP Khanal and Gobardan Puja;  Music by Kanhaiya Singh, Dance Choreography by Govinda Prabhat and Cinematography by Suman  Kumar Tandukar.

The movie is being released in Nepal and Internationally.
